The Olympics are here, the Olympics are here! The 2018 Winter Olympics are already living up to the hype -delivering non-stop inspiration, from the amazing Mirai Nagasu's triple axel, to a first US gold medal of the games for 17 year old snowboarder Red Gerard. And we're only in day 3! The dazzling opening ceremony featured a host of nations' jubilant entrances and an inspiring and beautiful torch lighting performance by South Korean superstar figure skater Kim Yuna. Since fashion is our business, Tulipe is also inspired by the beautiful Olympic uniforms worn by the athletes from around the world. Here are a few of our favorites:
Mirai Nagasu's performance was killer, and the beauty of her elegant high neck dress just added to her majesty on the ice.
Luhta Sportwear Company designed these icy cool uniforms for the Finnish team. The mixed prints really make these a modern stand out.
The Russian team was mired in controversy with only individual athletes able to attend, but the Zasport designed outfits were really fantastic. Even the Wall Street Journal was gushing.
Ralph Lauren's designs for Team USA are pretty terrific, too.
USA Closing Ceremony Uniforms - these kind of have an athlete/astronaut feel that just looks so good.

It's all amazing, but OMG what is this dress? It looks like it was 3-D printed using crystals made of dry ice! It's just everything that we always dreamed a Winter Olympics could be. Thank you, thank you to whoever designed these beautiful ice fairy creations!
